Library of Change Exchange Podcast: 02
Our Exchange events are intimate opportunities for people involved in and interested in social, cultural and environmental change to come together and share what's inspired them and made them think recently. It's a book club where everyone brings something different, where intellectual stimulation is coupled with space for us to connect and find communal ground.
For second Library of Change Exchange we asked our small group of guests to bring a book/books that spoke to them on the theme of 'Spring'. This could be interpreted either loosely or directly, and it provoked an evening of much laughter and honest conversations that took in 'awakenings' in different ways, and necessary change, from personal journeys to the wider society. The podcast distils some of our favourite moments from this 'Spring Exchange'.

Emma Passmore is a writer/director. Since 2006 she has created arts and learning programmes in the visual arts and has curated 4 festivals for children & young people at the Barbican Centre. www.emmapassmore.com Emma talks about Deborah Levy's The Cost of Living and Viv Albertine's To Throw Away Unopened.
Iben la Cour is a single mother of two living in London, with a background in the arts. She is now the proprietor of the vegetarian cafe The Ragged Canteen in Vauxhall. She also designs jewellery and other craft. Iben talks about Elena Ferrante's The Lost Daughter.
Sarah Cuddon is a radio producer, whose work has been broadcast across the BBC networks and on international strands. She also produces the Library of Change podcasts. Sarah talks about The Living Mountain by Nancy Shepherd.
Line Langebek, co-founder of Library of Change and a screenwriter for film and TV, as well as a translator and lecturer. Line is also co-founder of campaign organisation Raising Films. Line talks about Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine.
